Citron, a full-service restaurant from Charles Levine, opening in 2016 at Quarry Lake at Greenspring.

Located on the north side of Quarry Lake, the restaurant will feature a dining room, bar and private event space. Citron will also have outdoor patio and waterfront deck seating.

Levine and his Citron Kitchen team are developing a menu that will feature contemporary American cuisine with a mix of fresh fish, grilled meats, composed salads and handmade desserts. The bar will serve handcrafted cocktails, craft brews, fine wines and an extensive selection of top-shelf spirits.

about charles levine

Citron is the first full-service restaurant for Charles Levine, an accomplished caterer who leads a 30-year career in the food service industry. Levine is owner and president of Charles Levine Ltd., t/a Charles Levine Caterers and Glorious Events companies, headquartered in Owings Mills, Maryland.  His companies offer full-service catering and event planning to corporate, institutional and private clients in the mid-Atlantic region.

Levine founded his company in 1985 as an off-premise catering company after starting and running the catering division at Baltimore’s legendary Pimlico Hotel & Restaurant. He has catered for a number of notable clientele including five U.S. Presidents, the NFL and The Rolling Stones, among others. He will continue to own and operate the catering companies with his talented staff and event managers when the restaurant opens.

Levine attended Bentley University in Waltham, Mass., and transferred to the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business in College Park, Md., where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business. A Baltimore native, Levine currently lives with his wife Susan and four children in Baltimore County.
